Quest for exercise

I am getting to the point that I feel ready to start an exercise program so I am going to start the following routine this week. I didn't know what AIS is so had to go to You Tube to find examples. There are many there.

Quote: Ben Fury
"If you have just 10-15 minutes you can do a pretty serious workout at home. Do 5 minutes of AIS stretching to get the blood pumping. Another 5 minutes of sprint walking if the AIS didn't get your body temp up enough. Then do 5 minutes of flat out bodyweight exercises:
Pushups, free squats, burpees, thrusters, chair dips, pull ups, chin ups, etc. Blast out ten reps of an exercise then take a three breath rest.
Switch exercises, ten reps, three breaths, switch exercises... 5 minutes of honest intensity like this and you're done!"

cretons

Something new I read about. A French Canadian meat dish. I think I want to try this without breadcrumbs or milk/cream.

Ingredients
1 1/4 lbs ground pork
3/4 cup finely chopped yellow onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cup whole milk
1/4 cup fine breadcrumb
Directions
1In a large saute pan, add the pork and cook until no longer pink, about 3 minutes.
2Add the onions and garlic, and cook for 1 minute.
3Add the salt, pepper, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg and cook for 1 minute.
4Add the milk and bread crumbs and cook for 3 minutes over medium heat, stirring to break up the meat.
5Reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the pork is very tender and most of the liquid is evaporated, about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
6Remove the lid and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thick and all the liquid is evaporated, about 10 to 15 minutes.
7Remove from the heat and adjust the seasoning, to taste.

The beginning of my zero carb path.

I started 2008 eating Atkins low carb diet with about 40 to 50 pounds to lose. By October of 2008 I had lost 30 pounds. I found the Zero Carb thread at Livin La Vida Lo Carb Discussion forum. I had been toying with dropping my carb level to nearly zero before I found this thread but I still believed that humans needed dietary carbohydrate to survive. I found out through this thread by the examples of Charles Washington and others who were living the Zero Carb life that it could be done. People can be perfectly healthy with no dietary carbohydrate. I gradually went to meat, eggs water and some cream and butter. I was still having issues with acid indigestion and dropped the dairy and eggs. After about 3 days. I no longer had any acid indigestion.
I have now been zero carb with no artificial sweetener except for a couple of slips on Thanksgiving since October 28 after which I did suffer a bout of acid indigestion. My skin is clearer than it has been since I was a child.

I am losing the desire for sweets and can live my life without being hungry. I eat meat and fat when I am hungry.
